On the way
This video soundscape is the result of my interest in ancient cultures and the symbols that recur that can provide a personal understanding of our lives within a framework of mythology and alchemy.
In this video I combined three symbols of the Ouroboros, Mars and a Boddhisatva with a musical composition to represent a spiritual life cycle.
The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol that was first found in Egypt, but has symbolic meaning in many different cultures and religions, this particular image resembles the dragon in Chinese mythology.

Step into
Step into is a reflection video that was made after a period of lockdown in Shenzhen, China; representing the desire to transcend physical isolation and step into the future and freedom of movement.
The video was taken at Dameisha beach, Shenzhen and the birds in flight were superimposed.
